On the Water

Boats, Fishing & Everything Else

🚤 Boat & Watercraft Rental

Rent through the North Captiva Island Club or Boats and Fun, based on the island near Mango’s - boats, kayaks, paddle boards and golf carts. Marina slips are available if you bring your own boat.

🎣 Fishing

Deep-sea, bay and surf fishing are all within reach, with charters and tackle rental available on the island. The passes at either end of the island and the flats on the bay side are the local favorites.

🛶 Kayaks & Paddling

Kayaking and canoeing through the mangroves on the bay side - calm water, and the best chance of seeing the island's wildlife up close.

🤿 Snorkeling & Water Sports

Snorkeling, scuba and water sports run out of the club, with the Gulf a five-minute walk from the house.

🐚 Shelling & Beach Days

Beach essentials are provided at the house. The Gulf-side beach is a short cart ride, and shelling here rivals anywhere in Southwest Florida.

🌿 350-Acre Nature Preserve

The preserve begins at the end of Dream Catcher's street - sandy trails, bird watching and wildlife, with no traffic anywhere on the island.
